Genesis Pregnancy Care Center Contributions
Ministry Opportunities!
VOLUNTEER TEAM: HELPLINE COUNSELORS: Helpline phone calls are transferred to your home where you can speak with clients, take messages, and arrange appointments at the center. Twenty-five hours of training is provided. This is a 4-hour, weekly time commitment from your home. POST-ABORTION COUNSELORS: Counselors are selected and trained to use the Post-Abortion Bible Study program with women who are experiencing post-abor tion stress. This ministry is a 4-hour weekly time commitment at the center. ABSTINENCE PROGRAM SPEAKERS: This volunteer would present the Genesis abstinence program to teens. Prefer a background of working with teens and skills in public speaking. Twenty-five hours of counselor training required as well as some in-house counseling experience. CLOTHING SORTERS: Organize maternity and baby clothing and equipment for distribution to our clients. OTHER VOLUNTEERS: BOARD MEMBERS: Serve as spiritual overseer of the Genesis Pregnancy Care Center ministry vision. Prayerfully seek God's direction for the future planning of the ministry, as well as ministry policies. Encourage and support the staff. Monthly meetings required. CHURCH REPRESENTATIVES: Help make your church aware of the Genesis ministry. Representatives are provided with already written announcements to put in your church bulletin or newsletter. Representatives are particularly helpful with advertising and encouraging participation at our major fund raising events.
FUND RAISING COMMITTEES: Special committees set up for our annual major fund raisers - Walk for Life; Banquet; and Golf Outing. Financial Support! Genesis Pregnancy Care Center depends upon the faithfulness of Jesus Christ to sustain its ministry. God does this through the generous support of many individuals, groups and organizations. There are many needs. There are also many ways that you can help! Please call the office for specific information on how you can help protect the life of the unborn and minister life to women in need. |
